This is Mark speaking. It is my great pleasure to introduce you to Carolyn A. DeLange, Broker for DeMark Financial Service and Manager of Loan Processing. After graduating from Southern Oregon State College in Ashland, Oregon with a BS in Business Administration, Carolyn began her career in lending with the Bank of California. She moved to Bank of America in 1981 and rose to Assistant Vice President and Manager for Bank of America, managing mortgage production teams, underwriters, processors and clerical staff. After hearing glowing recommendations about Carolyn, I brought her to DeMark in 1997 to set up our Loan-By-Phone operation. She was quickly promoted, with the added responsibility of two of DeMark's Branches, supervising operations and pre-underwriting and processing residential and commercial loans. I was extremely impressed by Carolyn's performance. She shared my focus and commitment to quality customer service and professional and ethical codes.
In 2000, I made the decision to leave management of DeMark so I could completely concentrate on my clients. I could only do this if I could find someone I trusted to maintain DeMark's high standards. I had been making loans in Oregon for almost 20 years at that time and had thousands of happy clients. DeMark has never had a complaint to the Better Business Bureau nor has been sued by a client. I took great pride in our reputation for finding the best loan programs for our clients, with outstanding personal service and the highest ethical standards.
